Winter in the Forest


Winter time is a magical time to explore the forest. The landscape turns into something completely different making animals adapt, change their appearance, hibernate and more. Plants also go through some amazing processes and your children will be able to explore all of those changes with our new unit study!

π‘Šπ‘–π‘›π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿ 𝑖𝑛 π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ πΉπ‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘‘ is a Charlotte Mason unit that focuses in nourishing family time, time outdoors and learning fantastic facts about the season.


Our STEM unit study is a Charlotte Mason inspired unit that will immerse your children into learning fascinating facts about the changes that animals and plants go through to adjust to the cold winter months. You will find outdoor activities, a nature craft, a recipes, copy work in cursive and print, poetry and more- all while practicing lots of Spanish!

This 45-page long guide is geared towards elementary students but there is a ton of material included for older grades. The entire file is bilingual making it easy for the educator to decide how much Spanish immersion he/she would like to use, based on the student’s skills and desires.

A guide designed to provide family connection, an invitation to explore the great outdoors while using our senses and an opportunity to practice the essentials. Oh, there is also a booklist included!
