Hi! I’m Dayana,
I am the 32 year old mama behind a woodsy, hilly, beautiful piece of paradise we call home. Located in the southeast side of MN, that’s where we home-educate our 3 kiddos, tend to our garden, and our seven chickens, two rabbits, two dogs, a cat and a leopard gecko!
I am bilingual. I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia but have called the States home since 2007. Passing the Spanish language to my kids has always been important for me and my hubby and since we didn’t start speaking in Spanish to our children from the beginning, homeschooling seemed like the perfect platform for us to start focusing more on this.

We enjoy cooking a lot at home. My girl loves to bake, I love finding healthy and yummy recipes to feed to the fam. It is almost like a challenge, if its super healthy and they love it, I feel like I hit the jackpot!
Hubby is a grill master and the boys are little chefs in training…I work hard with them so they learn to enjoy cooking.
Including Bible learning and reading daily.
