Hi! I’m Dayana,
I am a Spanish Immersion teacher, who enjoys books, nature, traveling, and, gardening.
I feel blessed to be able to stay home and homeschool my three kiddos. Homemaking is my biggest passion; although you will find I also love blogging about homeschooling and Spanish education.
I feel committed to bring to the community quality educational material to help support their Spanish learning journey, preserve their heritage, and provide material for those who love the Spanish language, I do this by creating fun unit studies, flashcards, and resources that can be printed and put to use at home.
Some of the activities that we enjoy the most are being out in nature with our Wild+Free nature group, nature journaling, cooking, baking and crafting with my girl, reading and playing active games with my boys, and caring for our flower and vegetable gardens. oh, dating my husband is pretty awesome too.
I love Jesus and I am determined to live it to the fullest.
I am so thankful to have you here and I hope we can connect!

This is my everything-they are my everything.
Find joy everywhere:
Nature is the art of God…
“Children are born with all the wonder they will need. Our job is not to take it away.”– Ainsley Airment
We are simply the happiest when we are in the middle of nature. The talks, the questions, all the senses working, the fresh air…
Every child is an artist
“Art is a place for children to learn to trust their ideas, themselves, and to explore what is possible.” – Maryann F. Kohl
We love to incorporate nature and art together!
Books, books, and more books!
“Fill your house with stacks of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks.” -Dr. Seuss
If everything else fails, if there is no energy or time. Read to your child and you will have given him/her the world!
Kitchen: A gathering place where memories are homemade and seasoned with love!
“Cooking with kids is harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity.” – Guy Fieri
We enjoy cooking a lot at home. My girl loves to bake, I love finding healthy and yummy recipes to feed to the fam. It is almost like a challenge, if it’s super healthy and they love it, I feel like I hit the jackpot!
Hubby is the grill master and the boys are little chefs in training…I work hard with them so they learn to enjoy cooking.
Including Bible learning and reading daily.
“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
Where community meets nature, beautiful things happen.
“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much” – Helen Keller
Out of the desire to cultivate community, friendship, and love for nature I decided to come together with one of my good friends to lead a Wild+Free nature group.
We have been meeting with our friends every other Friday and it has been a huge blessing!
