
Meet Dayana,
A native of Bogotá, Colombia, and founder of Spanish at Cedar Hill, LLC. A company that focuses on preserving the Hispanic heritage and supporting families that want to learn the Spanish. She has taught children Spanish for more than 12 years in the U.S. through various settings. Before becoming a teacher, she studied ESL and Early Childhood Education an worked as a medical interpreter and translator for the SSA. Currently, she works from home as a Spanish Immersion teacher and writes curricula that focus on bilingual education. She works via this website and social media platforms to promote her resources and connect with fellow mama creatives and families interested in home education and the Spanish language. She feels committed to bringing to the community quality material to help support their language learning journey, preserve their heritage, and provide helpful resources for them.
Dayana and her family of 4 live in SE Minnesota. Where she and her husband homeschool their kids and spend their days reading, gardening, and caring for their pets and home, she is a God-fearing woman who enjoys water-coloring, reading, drinking coffee, and being out in nature in the little snippets she finds. Otherwise, she is geeking out over traveling, photography, and world cultures.
She is eager to connect and serve you to the best of her abilities!

The enjoy cooking a lot at home. Their girl loves to bake, Dayana loves finding healthy and yummy recipes to feed to the fam she also enjoys challenging her boys to cook a variety of recipes to work on those important life-skills. Dad and husband, Erik, is the grill master!

Out of the desire to cultivate community, friendship, and love for nature Dayana decided to come together with one of her good friends to lead a Wild+Free nature group.
They have been meeting with friends every other Friday for a while now and it has been a huge blessing for their lives.
